Who was it that used to do the "View from the opposition" thread?
Was always a good read, that.

Someone should bring it back.

I'm not doing it though.

I can't be arsed.

Was it Vinnie and someone got Adrian Chiles to do one?

One Macca did the last ones, he got Mark Lawrenson involved IIRC

I was going to say it was Vinny and I remember him asking if anyone would care to take up the mantle as he was ceasing.

Used to be entertaining reading opposition fans engaging in banter over fan rivalry.

It would not do well if restarted though because these days people don’t understand that fans are the same as one another, nothing special, differing only over the teams they support.

Vinnie did the match reports I think? And did a good job, but a few of the site twats would slag him off if they didn’t agree with his report, sometimes for some trivial point, but they would weigh in with a real cunting, think he had enough of it in the end and stopped doing them.

Shame really as they were always a well balanced report.

Vinnie did them by the longest stretch, but it was definitely One Macca who did the last lot.

Didn’t Jason Roberts or someone do one as well? And to prove it was him, did a signal on the pitch when whoever he was playing for at the time played us?

I remember Alfs tried to revive it and did a few. But he had trouble finding opposition supporters to do it and some complained WHO didn't look safe to use.

Yes One macca got Adrian Chiles to do one

I nip over to KUMB for their Oppo view, this was from an Everton supporter after we beat them

"Looking at the almost empty ground at the end and all I can think of is, apart from the supporters, there's no one left at the club who cares. We're such a basket case, it drains the soul and given the opportunity I'd drag our sorry arse to Dignitas and most would thank me for it. Absolute shambles that. We'll be the first club that the fans put in a transfer request."

I did them for about a season or so and got Jason Roberts to do his one. he clapped the 3 sides of the stadium and then waved to our fans.

best answer we had, I thought.

To a spurs fan...

What is your favourite sized piece of wood.

Answer, whatever I can find to wrap around your head.

Used to enjoy doing them but a fair bit of work and people fucking moan on here!

Shall we bring it back between now and end of the season?

Re: Who was it that used to do the "View from the opposition" thread?
Yeah, I tried to revive it but it took up a lot of time, and I got cunted off on here when I got Eric idle to do the Wolves one, so gave it up.

So 'Len', you enquired about this purely to find out '3 objects that begin with the letter G that you reckon you could stick up your arse'?

Will it give you the horn when you find out or maybe just post it on Facebook, or both?

Over 8 years its been and its still punching out WINS.

Re: Who was it that used to do the "View from the opposition" thread?
Trundle, do yourself a favour and get your tongue out of Len’s arse, firstly, it’s rather embarrassing and secondly, it doesn’t begin with the letter G.
